Arabella, the Pirate's Daughter
Taaniel Tina is a strict, harsh captain of a pirate ship. His daughter Arabella is used to the pirate lifestyle, including treasure hunts and battles. Aadu is a traveller full of wisdom and kindness who wins Arabella's heart. She will gradually learn that the pirates, including her father, are imprisoned by greed and evil. The pirate ship sails to another dangerous robbery. How to direct one's destiny so a child can live in a better world?

The screening will be introduced by director Peeter Simm and lead actress Inga-Kai Polonski, who will bring along rare audio and video footage from the making of the film.
Peeter Simm (b. 1953) has directed ten full-length features and numerous documentaries. He graduated cum laude from the Moscow Cinematography Institute in 1976, having studied under the supervision of Professor Aleksandr Stolper. He has acted as a film and stage director and screenwriter since 1977 and also teaches at the film school now.
