An experienced and worldly Mossbeard, a cheerful and active Muffie and unpractical professor Halfshoe get to know one another while queueing up for ice cream. They are all lonely: Muffie sends letter to himself, Halfshoe`s only companion is a little mouse. They decide to go on a journey together. Through the memorable adventures of the three jolly fellows the film tells us about the natural balance of things, the harmony reigning in nature and human relationships.
