Every cinephile knows Roy Andersson, winner of the Jury Prize in Cannes for "Songs from the Second Floor", the Golden Lion in Venice for "A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence" or the Silver Lion for "About Endlessness". Few outsiders have had the chance to see a film by Kjell-Åke Andersson (whose "Christmas Oratorio" was shown in Karlovy Vary in 1970), but even IMDB doesn't know that he is Roy's younger brother. He has often asked Roy for an opinion or a review, but Roy has never replied to Kjell. They have two other brothers, Ronny and Leif. Ronny ended up homeless and died of drug addiction. His funeral in 2012 was the last time the Anderssons saw each other. They are so stubborn that they do not speak to each other for no particular reason.

Leif Andersson's daughter decides to make a documentary, interviewing Roy and Kjell and looking back at Ronny from earlier footage, hoping to reunite the three brothers for at least one last happy occasion (not delayed until another funeral). A deeply moving, tenderly uplifting and nostalgic portrait of a broken and alcoholic family that may never sit around the same table again.
